Description:
The World Bank (WB) seeks a research firm (Consultant) todevelop and implement all aspects of survey preparation, sample selection,pilot, and data collection on women working in low- and unskilled formal wagejobs in industrial park (IP) and industrial zone areas in Viet Nam. Theobjective of this data collection is to inform the “In Her Shoes” report whichwill identify aspirations, constraints and needs for women working in IP areasto benefit from a new Lifelong Learning Law and other forms of support for themto manage their employment trajectories. The report is a delivery under the ABP2Gender 02 program of the World Bank, which has as program development objective“Policies and programs strengthened to address key challenges to women-s laborforce participation and gender equality”. For this aim the consultant is toconduct individual surveys with women working in IPs in four cities in Vietnam- Da Nang, Thai Nguyen, Can Tho, and HCMC. The Consultant will be responsiblefor cleaning up the data but will not be responsible for the analysis of thedata.
