- Expression of Interest are invited for Understanding the Vulnerabilities of Informal Sector Waste Workers and Exploring Opportunities for Social Entrepreneurship and Livelihoods Options from Plastics Circularity in Vietnam. Assignment Description: The Study will Focus on Understanding Vulnerabilities of Informal Waste Sector Workers in Vietnam Who are Affected by or Engaged in Marine Plastic Waste Management, and Identifying Social Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Opportunities from Plastics Circularity for Vulnerable Groups. The Study will Pay Special Attention to the Roles of Women/Girls Working in the Informal Plastic Waste and Recycling Sectors. The Study will Entail a Combination of Literature Review, Qualitative and Quantitative Research, and will have a Strong Focus on Consulting with Government and Other Relevant Stakeholders on Preliminary Findings. The Study Should: (I) Provide a Diagnostic of Who are the Vulnerable Groups Engaged in Plastics Debris Waste Management, and Their Current Livelihoods Systems; And (Ii) Propose Viable Livelihoods Options that can be Scalable and Replicable.
