Description:
The Global Biodiversity Framework Early Action Support (GBF EAS) aims to fast-track readiness and early actions to implement the new post-2020 Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) adopted by the parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) at its 15th meeting in December 2022. UNDP Vietnam is looking for a qualified national firm/institute/organization to support the implementation of the national targets on management and control of invasive alien species in Vietnam. The overall objectives of this service are: • Support the formulation of an IAS database for Vietnam based on development and deployment of IAS surveys in selected areas in the country; • Review and contribute to revision of Circular No.35/2018/TT-BTNMT on criteria for IAS identification and update of national list of IAS; and • Support MONRE and NBCA to strengthen capacities for IAS management in Vietnam by mobilizing resources for IAS management.
