Description:
Tenders are invited for Pro-WEAI Consultancy. Applications Close: 9am (Hanoi time) on 5 August 2021. CARE International in Vietnam (CVN) and Murdoch University are together undertaking a research and development project, ‘Analyzing Gender Transformative Approaches to Agricultural Development with Ethnic Minority Communities in Vietnam- funded by the Australian Centre for International Agriculture Research (ACIAR). The research studies gender transformative tools in CVN-s Technologically Enhanced Agricultural Livelihoods (TEAL) (2018-2022) northern uplands project, to determine how they contribute to changing gender relations/empowering women, and to what extent. The objective is to assess how desired changes happen (or not) from the perspectives of TEAL beneficiaries. The project is also building capacity of in-country partners and early career social science researchers through trainings in participatory qualitative methodologies, the Feminist Participatory Action Research (FPAR), and the project-level Women-s Empowerment in Agriculture Index (pro-WEAI).
