Description:
The national firm/institution is expected to develop a report on resilience building and economic development for the Mekong Delta in 2024. Scope of work (For more detail, see Annex 1: Activities and description): • Review the Gov programming priorities for the MD, its guiding documents, and planning guidance for the MD between 2010 and 2023; • Review relevant documents, good practices and lessons learned on resilience-building and economic development for the MD, and their relevance to key sectors including agriculture, transportation, energy development, infrastructure, and regional planning; • Develop an outline of the report, and organise a consultation workshop engaging the private sector, academic institutions, local authorities and experts. • Collect necessary data and inputs (including policies, plans, and strategies in the MD that explain gaps and needs for better resilience building and economic development for key sectors); • Undertake necessary analysis and consultations with local authorities and stakeholders; take proactive actions to fully develop report chapters in consultation with UNDP. • Organise a high-level event to launch the report in consultation with UNDP. ...
