- Expression of Interest are invited for Market Study for Inland Waterways Transportation in Vietnam. The consultant will be a firm with a record of accomplishment in the Inland Waterways Transport sector, and more broadly in the Logistics sector. The Consultant should have a demonstrated track record of advisory, analytical activities in the tasks relevant to this assignment, including IWT market assessments, industry research, demand and supply analysis, feasibility studies and conceptualization and development of business plans. The Consultants should also have demonstrated local experience, resources and knowledge in the target country i.e. Vietnam. Finally, the Consultant should also have experience working in TCL projects in Emerging and Developing Economies (EMDEs). Given the uncertainties associated with travel during Covid, international consultants are highly encouraged to have local presence/partners for smooth execution of the engagement. Consultants that do not meet this profile will not be considered. The World Bank now invites eligible consultant firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, general organization of the firm, availability of appropriate skills among staff, technological infrastructure / tools available, etc. for firms). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
