- ADDENDUM 01 to Procurement Notice UNDP-VNM-01406 - National Consultant to Implement Mangrove Monitoring and Develop a Carbon Stock Inventory.The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is currently implementing a project "Viet Nam Climate-Smart Coastal Communities (VN-CSCC)" that requires theservices of a National Consultant to Implement Mangrove Monitoring and Develop a Carbon Stock Inventory, as described in this document. This Addendum aims to update the requirements of this Procurement, as specified in the attached updated TORs. Female consultants are encouraged to bid for this requiredservice. Preference will be given to equally technically qualified female consultants. The objective of this consultancy is to support the implementation of mangrove monitoring under Output 1321. This includes developing and operationalising a carbon stock inventory to assess the climate changemitigation and carbon sequestration potential of restored and rehabilitated mangrove ecosystems, as well as training forestry officers and local communities in the application of mangrove monitoring and carbon stock inventory procedures. The consultant will work closely with community-based conservationgroups, cooperatives, local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure evidence-based monitoring of mangrove ecosystems.
