Secondary Green Cities Development Project - TA 9417-ISP QCBS-03 Conduct Capacity Need Assessment, Develop and Conduct Training Program for Ghg Inventory, Low-Carbon Emission, Climate Risk Vulnerability Assessment, Green Public Procurement… for Secondary Cities Deadline of Submitting EOI: 22-Feb-2022 11:59 PM Manila local time Estimated Short-listing Date: 19-Jan-2022 Estimated Commencement Date: 07-Feb-2022 Estimated Commencement Date: 221,000 USD Engagement Period: 24 MONTH Objective and Purpose of the Assignment The primary objective of this assignment is to strengthen the capacity of central and local officials in GHG inventory, climate vulnerability assessment, circular economy, green public procurement, low-carbon emission… in order to promote, support, and enhance capacity for mainstreaming climate change resilience and environmental protection in development of secondary green cities. - Enhance capacity in implementation of GHG emissions inventory for secondary cities to ensure sufficient tools and capacities of localities in GHG emission inventory; - Enhance capacity in climate change adaptation assessment for selected cities; - Ensure capacity building, promote knowledge and insights in circular economy, green public procurement, low carbon and pollution emissions for officials and enterprises in secondary cities, thereby aiming at implementation of low-carbon actions and towards development of circular economy; - Develop training programs and training materials on green public procurement, low-carbon/impact development, and circular economy.
