• Expression of Interest are invited for Agri Business Learning Path (ALP) Blended Learning: Learning Path Development. Publication Date: 07-Dec-2022 Expression of Interest Deadline: 22-Dec-2022 The International Finance Corporation (IFC) www.ifc.org is the private sector arm of the World Bank Group (WBG) and the largest multilateral provider of financing for private enterprises in developing countries. Our mission is to promote sustainable private sector investment in developing countries, reduce poverty and improve people's lives. IFCs Agribusiness Leadership Program (ALP) is a capacity-building program for producer organizations (POs), last mile retailers (LMRs), and model farmers. ALP integrates assessment, training, coaching, and market linkages to help these target groups build the business management capacity and mindset to be reliable supply chain partners for commercial agribusinesses, including IFC clients. IFC is in the process of moving ALP online and now integrates online learning and live virtual training with in-person components for a blended learning solution (Self-paced e-learning organized into learning paths and available through Microsoft Community Training (MCT).IFC is seeking a consultant to design and develop self-paced e-learning courses on business management topics organized into learning paths and available through MCT via a mobile phone. These courses will: SCOPE OF WORK The selected firm, working under the supervision of the Task Team Leader (based out of Vietnam) will be responsible for tasks which may include, but are not limited to the following: I. Develop a learning design plan for courses on MCT. These courses fall within the following topic categories: Operations, Bookkeeping for Producer Organizations, Environmental Sustainability, Social Sustainability, Environmental Sustainability, Women's Inclusion, Staff Management, Leadership, Internal Organization, Finance and Accounting Overview, Financial Analysis and Planning, Working with Credit, Business Planning, Marketing, Managing Risk II. The learning design plan will follow a template (IFC to provide) and should include: (a) Learning objectives (in the form of guiding questions, a sequenced list of what learners will do in each course, (b) A course containing lessons, which are multimedia content chunks. This content includes videos, infographics, PowerPoints, downloadable content, and other content as appropriate, (c) Knowledge checks in the form of short quizzes (at least one per course). III. Identify how to present content chunks. Develop storyboards for any animated videos. IV. Develop alpha versions of each content chunk (static visual and text). V. Develop beta version of each chunk (fully animated with audio, interactions, and captions). VI. Develop final versions of courses and upload to MCT.
