- UNDP is looking for 01 consultancy firm to conduct a EUDR Preparedness check for Vietnam for the EU-funded project "Integrated sustainable landscape management through deforestation-free jurisdiction project in Lam Dong and Dak Nong Viet Nam", as described in the attached TORs. The overall objective of the assignment is to identify the main challenges to EUDR compliance in the coffee and timber sectors in Vietnam, including administrative and technical gaps. The analysis will look at challenges at the national and provincial level (Lam Dong and Dak Nong) and propose priority areas that the GoV and provinces should focus on, with specific recommendations where appropriate. This can then be used to draft action plans to effectively respond to the challenges, and to begin to develop appropriate tools and methodologies to support stakeholders of coffee and timber sectors to comply with EUDR requirements.The consultancy firm is expected to conduct specific tasks as follow:(i) Interpret EUDR regulation and benchmarking assessment principles of EU in the legal context of Vietnam;(ii) Compare relevant laws and legal regulations of Vietnam and international treaties/agreements wherein Vietn...
